Facebook API

Integrate your Facebook Page feed seamlessly with Topper Pack using the Facebook API. This allows you to display real-time updates directly from your Facebook page on your website.

✅ Step 1: Go to API Settings

• Navigate to Topper Pack > API Settings in your WordPress admin dashboard.
• Under Connect with Facebook, you’ll need to provide:
  • Facebook Page ID
  • Facebook Access Token

✅ Step 2: Create a Facebook App

1. Go to https://developers.facebook.com and log in.
2. Click “Create App” in the top right corner.

✅ Step 3: Set App Details

• Choose:
  • App name (e.g., facebook feed)
  • App contact email
• Click Next.

✅ Step 4: Select Use Case

• On the Use Case screen, scroll to the bottom.
• Select Other and proceed.

✅ Step 5: Select App Type

• Choose Business as the app type.
• Click Next.

✅ Step 6: Finalize App Setup

• Confirm app name, email, and optionally connect a business portfolio.
• Click Create App.

✅ Step 7: Add Products to Your App

• Once inside the app dashboard, you’ll see products like:
  • Instagram
  • WhatsApp
  • Marketing API
• Skip product selection for now.
• From the top menu, click Tools > Graph API Explorer.

✅ Step 8: Use Graph API Explorer

1. Select your app from the dropdown.
2. Choose User or Page, then click Get Token.
3. Authenticate and continue as your Facebook user.

✅ Step 9: Select Your Page

• A modal will appear asking you to select the Facebook page.
• Choose your business page (e.g., Topper) and click Continue.

✅ Step 10: Copy Access Token

• Once generated, copy the Access Token from the top field in Graph API Explorer.

✅ Step 11: Paste into WordPress

• Go back to your WordPress Dashboard → Topper Pack > API Settings.
• Paste:
  • The Facebook Page ID
  • The Access Token
• Save settings.
